Hotel Halond - Akureyri

Had a fun stay with a smooth self-check-in and enjoyed the cozy common kitchen that was like home. Relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring was a bonus, and the fine views from our room were definitely a highlight. Just a heads up, bringing a few extra toiletries might be a good idea!

The stay was absolutely perfect! Enjoyed my 1 night stay. There were terrace and coffee in the rooms, which made them a nice size and brand-new. There was comfortable bed & a large bathroom. Its location was decent and fantastic, near to the center of the view. It also was in the perfect area.

Comfortable room, convenient location, combined with a gorgeous view of the mountains, made our stay enjoyable, complemented by excellent free wi-fi and ample free parking on site, just a short drive from the nearest airport.

The room was very clean and spacious, with a large smart TV and an en-suite fridge which I found very convenient. The peaceful atmosphere contributed to a restful night's sleep, and I appreciated having access to outdoor hot tubs.

The modern décor in the Beautiful Double Room was excellent, showcasing a stylish and comfortable environment. A standout feature was the quietness, nice for a restful night's sleep. The common kitchen offered a great opportunity for those needing self-catering options, while the local and fresh breakfast options were really liked. The check-in process was somewhat confusing, and clearer communication is needed for older guests, as the technical aspects may be challenging.

Everything was great. The beautiful double room had great facilities, including an en-suite fridge and a lovely terrace. It was super quiet. The hot tubs were a wonderful bonus. The common kitchen was super handy! The location is close to the city center.

The steep hill to get there had me feeling like a mountain goat-definitely not ideal in icy conditions! A bit more drying space and I would've been set.
